Courses Designed for each age group
(Age 5-7) Kindergarten - Gr. 1
Childrens have hte option to rotate through Art (drawing, painting, collage, clay, simple prints), Maker (cardboard builds, masks, easy mechanisms), and STEAM (beginner coding robots, first circuits, teacher-assisted 3D prints). They learn color/shape, brush control, safe tool use, and sharing ideas finishing a small project every few weeks.

(Age 8-9) Gr.2 - Gr.4
Learners tackle Art (acrylics, poster/layout), Maker (kinetic sculpture, basic woodcraft with balsa/dowels), and STEAM (micro:bit challenges, CAD for snap-fit parts). We build planning & measurement, reliable cams/linkages, loops/conditionals in code, and clear presentations ending with a moving sculpture, polished art piece, and a working tech mini.

(Age 10-12) Gr.5 -Gr.7
Teens rotate Art (figure/portrait basics, perspective, acrylic/gouache), Maker (prop/model builds, wearable basics), and STEAM (electronics + coding + CAD with hybrid finishing). They practice value structure, clean construction, sensors/LEDs/servos, and MakeCode/Python fundamentals producing a refined art study, a crafted object, and an interactive build.

At NPC Arts Center, we believe that every child has a unique creative spark waiting to be ignited. A joyful, premium art studio where kids paint, draw, collage, print, and build. Each class mixes a short skills demo with playful “studio time,” so they experiment and actually finish pieces they’re proud of.
Art Making

STEAM
At NPC Arts Center, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of innovators through our unique approach to arts and technology. A project-based lab where teens design, code, and build real things. We rotate through electronics & sensors, coding/robotics, and design/fabrication, 3D Print so students leave with working prototypes, plus the skills to explain how and why they work.

Maker Lab
At NPC Arts Center, we believe in the power of creativity and the joy of hands-on crafting. Our mission is to ignite the imaginations of children by teaching them a variety of artistic techniques, Part art studio, part mini-makerspace. Students design and build sculptures and crafted objects using cardboard engineering, clay sculpting, mask-making, and simple woodworking (kid-safe tools).
